Serving Dordon Parish Since 1987

For over 30 years, the Dordon Parish Labour Group has been serving the people of Dordon. Our aim, with everything we do, is to make life in the parish easier and to make sure your voice is heard. Peter Morson has been your councillor since 1987 and is a friend to all in Dordon. Like many of his peers, he grew up in the village and has lived here, happily with his wife, for over 50 years.

We’re here to take the action required, to preserve our village’s way of life. What does that mean for you? It could be taking care of the environment, keeping council tax low or bringing crime down. Whatever matters to you most, we’re here to make sure your concerns are heard.

We Need YOU to Help US Make a Change

Whatever issue is close to your heart, we’re always keen to hear your thoughts. Give Peter a call, any time, on 01827 892 046 or email us at info@dordonparishlabourgroup.co.uk to tell us your thoughts.

Monthly Surgery

If you have any questions about how we’re working for you or have something you just need to get off your chest, come and talk to us! We run a monthly surgery, from 12 midday, on the last Saturday of every month, at Ashleigh Community Centre. If you can’t make it, we can be contacted at times that suit you. There, you can pop in, at a time that suits you, and have a chat about your issues and concerns.

Whether you want to see more done to protect our environment, or if you have some thoughts about the ways the bins are emptied, we want to hear it!

Friends in High Places

Peter and the Dordon Parish Labour Group have been fortunate enough to welcome some of our party’s finest to the village, throughout our history as your councillors. These include the likes of Tom Watson (Former Deputy Leader of the Labour Party) and former Prime Minister Gordon Brown himself! Peter was featured in the latter’s book “Unsung Heroes” – focusing on party members that he felt deserved a little extra attention for the work they did in their communities.
